Programmes
Dialogue programme:
Dialogue is the chosen modality for the implementation of the MNF agenda, as was decided and prescribed by the Founders of the Foundation right from the beginning, at the first meeting of the Board of Trustees. In this regard, dialogue is both a stand-alone programme, and an integral part of every programme designed and implemented by the MNF. Since its inception, the MNF has provided a non-partisan and inter-stakeholder platform for dialogue for the purpose of sharing ideas and experience and building trust on pertinent issues for the advocacy of peace, unity, and PCD and SRD
Empowerment for self-reliance programme:
MNF’s ‘ The Empowerment for self-reliance programme focus on implementing pipeline projects in CSP3 and developing new ones in line with the need to enhance domestic framework conditions for PCD and SRD.
National heritage promotion programme:
MNF’s ‘The cultural and heritage programme’ advocates heritage research, heritage education and training, and heritage documentation and archiving. It builds on leveraging the youth in preserving cultural rights as integral part of human rights. It seeks to promote cultural rights and heritage in a comprehensive, systematic and systemic manner.
MNF African Leadership Initiative:
The MNF African leadership Initiative (MNF-ALI) is a broad-based programme, which blends conventional and innovative learning methods, including through peer-to-peer learning through peer-to-peer-dialogue focusing on specific groups of interest (e.g., youth-to-youth exchange of knowledge and skills through youth-to-youth dialogue), learning through intergenerational dialogue (i.e., including people of different age groups and experiences), learning through exchange of knowledge and skills in the context of multi-stakeholder dialogue (i.e., where participants come from different societal groups), etc.
